A positive experience with a tight production deadline provided a rare communicative opportunity among artists - in particular, those from Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovenia, and Slovak Republic, who had shared a space at the Vrije Academie in the Hague. The varied results are within the original concept of a 3m high frame, with images on both sides - pivoting according to the wind and water, they reflect the different personality and culture of each artist. A dynamic installation environmentally integrated with the changing seasons, and against a background of Holland's symbols of tradition, the exhibition is on constant public display (and spot-lit at night) and has been widely covered by the national media. Officially opened on the 17th September 2004, it remains in place until the 17th October 2004.
